Hi there! I’m Nathalie,
owner of Studio Boter.

I am an illustrator who gets inspiration from the seventies, metal and nature. As a multi crafter I have many hobbies, one of which is foraging and making tea of the plants I find on my walks.

I am someone who likes to facilitate a space where other people can shine. Where people feel welcome and free to show who they are. And are inspired to be creative. Studio Boter suits that perfectly!
I love to move the interior around and tweak it for that perfect creative living room vibe. It has to showcase all of the beautiful work our local creatives make. I have always been a fan of the stuff people around me make. Being able to collect this and show it to our visitors brings me great joy.
And how cool is it that you can actually meet the people behind the work? A lot of them drop by at the store, and even hang out.

That’s another thing I love, bringing people together. Workshop hosts teaching you their skills, crafting together, or just people hanging out. I love it. That’s where the welcoming part of the living room vibe really shines. Creativity is my comfort zone but also a great way to connect with each other. The Boter being an accessible space is important to me.
I have the opportunity to host this space in a way that I would like to see more of in the world. With compassion, acceptance and a whole lot of sparkles

The Team

A handful of wonderful creatives who support the studio.

Brigitt

Studio Cat She

Is at the Studio every friday. You may know her from the quirky, fun & colorful stickers, cards & buttons. With loads of cats, crafty stuff and other cute illustrations.

Marijke

You can find Marijke drawing her illustrations behind the counter or redecorating the store. You may know her from the playful illustrations on different sizes of prints. Her most loved ones are the ones with dogs. Like the art print "a good conversation" with the dog and the man in a bathtub.

Madalina

Our lovely host at every crafternoon tea! You may know her from her work of needle punched masks based on Romanian folklore.
